Assessment of the energy utilisation and environmental footprints of buildings have been a core focus for ASC Engineers since the commencement of the practice.  The experience gained from a wide range of projects has developed into an expertise covering all elements of Ecologically Sustainable Development (ESD),  and energy reduction initiatives. ASC Engineers considers the whole of the building project in the development of ESD principles.

• Energy management, including optimisation, conservation and minimisation strategies via active and passive measures.
• Renewable energy utilisation involving electricity generation from solar and wind.
• Indoor environmental quality enhancements, adopting best practice methodologies, products and systems.

ASC Engineers utilises an advanced suite of engineering applications including energy modeling and carbon emission accounting software to evaluate innovative engineering models.

ASC Engineer’s commitment to ESD includes the research and development of software applications for carbon emission assessment for  Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions.

Building assessment tools include energy assessment for system sizing & hourly analysis and financial assessment.

ASC Engineers carries out technical evaluation and assessment of new energy saving services elements such as light, and components to independently determine their suitability.
